I recieved a handmade basket for Christmas in 1980. It was lumpy and I thought it was the loveliest basket that I had ever seen. I wanted to make one myself.
I have enjoyed weaving baskets since my first class in the fall of 1981.
I was not very good at it and when I compared my baskets with the others made in class I cried.
Then I discovered that they had taken (2 ) 10 week sessions before I started.
27 years later I have producted and sold over 50,000 baskets and I will make several new ones today. After I ship my basket kit orders.
